looking for inspiration

I've been struggling over the past two weeks. I've really been wanting to bring this blog back to life--or give it the life it never really had in the first place. I've been trying to come up with some sort of theme or inspiration to give it besides what happens in my day to day life. I know that really can't be that interesting, because none of those "good" blogs reflect what my diary should read like as well. Then again, what else do I know better? Music is my only other specialty and there are a million music review blogs or blogs promoting up and coming musicians. Then again, I do have killer good taste.

However, if I started trying to dig  up new music tonight, it would probably be really sappy. I'm only making that assumption because I just finished watching Steel Magnolias and the song I am currently listening to is a (really good) cover song of a rather depressing "classic"

However, let me recommend for you two of my new artist obessions:

Annnnnd She's Back!

Well guys, it's official--I'm a big girl!!

Three weeks ago I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems and a minor (only 2 electives shy of a double major) in Management. Let me tell you, these past five years have flown by, and I wouldn't trade them for anything else in the world!
Two weeks ago, I began full-time employment at a major accounting firm in Midtown Atlanta. So far I've been more than impressed at how well I've adjusted to the working world. I enjoy my morning commute, I love being so productive all day, and I enjoy the benefits and perks of my job. Initially, I was very reserved about working in the city, but the more I learn my way around, I become more confident that they will soon rename this town after me due to the fact that I will soon take over. :)

I am going to add it to my list of nightly things to do after I get off work to include update the blog. I really, really want to make my blog a new "it" blog. Though, I have no idea what strategic marketing direction I will take it in, but maybe that will be part of what makes it so great--just being a giant mess of good stuff.

So hang on tight, ladies and gents. It's about to be a wild ride! Yee haw!

The thing you love most

Tonight I was asked to work on a video for my internship. The theme: What I love most. Sounds easy, right? Well yes, but have you ever even thought about sitting down and chronologically ordering the things that mean the most to you--not that that's even possible. And who can even pick one single thing they love more than anything?

So I'm going to mull it over, and update this tomorrow. It has gotten really late, and I have class excessively early in the morning. It's already boring as it is, so being half asleep isn't going to help make matters better.

Well, I guess this is growing up

Finally, a chance to update! I have started my last semester of college. It's almost heart breaking how much I've let these last 2 or 3 years slip by me. I've had to focus so much on school and work that I've honestly kind of missed out on a lot of my trademark whirl-wind adventures. Hopefully all of my hard work will soon pay off when I get a good paying job that I enjoy doing.
In other news, there is no other news. Because I am so focused on school and work, I have no notable pieces of information to share with you.
I do really, really wish, however, that I could find more time to blog. I miss blogging. It used to help me reflect so much, and I also feel like it helped me to speak very elloquently. I think after I stopped blogging, my ability to converse and sound intelligent at the same time went out the window. Maybe I should make that my belated New Year's Resolution?
Deal? Deal.
