Don't even pretend like you are NOT singing along. I know you are.

I always wondered how he never sweated that bandaid off his face

Mambo No 5 - Lou Bega

Go on, dance it out. Even do the macarena if you must.

Sunday Social

Since today's goal is to spend as much quality time with netflix, I'm going to keep to a simple post and link up for another ravishing edition of Sunday social

1. What is your favorite store to shop at?
I love boutiques! I find 80% of my clothes there. Some of my favorite ones are DressUp, Red Dress, Blue Door, and Fiore

2. If you could afford anything and everything, which designer brand would you covet?
I am usually not big on specific designers--I like what I like. I guess if I had come up with a few.. Michael Kors,  Alice Temperley, LaRoque.

3. What is your must have closet staple?
A great pair of shorts. I cannot seem to have enough. If they have a fun shape like scallops or lace or a great bright color, even better!!

4. What is your favorite kind of shoes? (brand or type)
I love boots. Specially a great pair of cowboy boots. I love corrals and old gringo! Besides cowboy boots, I always need a good pair of tennis shoes.

5. What is the best clothing deal you've ever gotten? (sale or amazing find)
I'm always a bargain shopper. I've shared with you a few of my deals on here. However, the best deal I've ever gotten wasn't even on myself! One late winter when all of the sweaters and winter wear were going on sale, I stumbled across an 80% off rack in the men's dept in Kohls. Keep in mind, if I want Billy to look nice I have to shop for him. I found tons of his favorite style sweater marked down from $60-$80 each to around $5-$10!! When I got to the register, I had a savings of around $375!! My bill was right around $35. I still brag about that one :)

6. What is a style you'd love to try?
I want to try the Kim K/hippie headband thing. I think I'd look like a total goof wearing it to the grocery store, but this is all hypothetical, right?

Not-so-Saturday Instagram Recap

I've been at the baseball field all weekend and have barely had time take pictures, much less blog this week. It's also very late and 5 am will come sooner than I wish, so I'll sum up my week and weekend using my instagram pictures.

My blog got a facelift! I love, love, LOVE it! That includes a new button. Go grab it!

Tuesday night we went to watch the Braves beat the Pirates. Look at that stud :)

Wednesday we had a health fair type thing day at work. This is the print out of my health report. I passed everything with flying colors. You go me coco!

Thursday night was the MLB Draft.. not that I let you forget.

Clint Frazier, one of Billy's former players, got drafted 5th overall to the Cleveland Indians! Austin Meadows, another of Billy's Team Elite boys, also went 9th overall to the Pittsburgh Pirates! What a big night for them! I'm so proud and excited for their futures.

My new ipad case I ordered from etsy finally got here. It's PERFECT!  I'll have to share a funny store about it's shipping process one later.

Yesterday I traveled with my two favorite companions to this weekend's baseball tourney  We had a very early game, so decided to sleep through the warm-ups in the car. I laid my seat back and proceeded to catch some z's. This little wiggle worm in the back seat kept squirming and I couldn't seem to fall asleep hearing her  rustling around against the leather. She gave me this face, and I couldn't even dare get mad at her for it. I swear it's not possible for me to love anything more than I love this little girl.

May Cara Box Reveal

This month, I was so excited to be paired up with my California girl, Sonya, from Sea Salt and Caramel. She's a San Francisco girl born and raised, but has European roots that run deep. She's a gorgeous, sweet girl with quite and eye for fashion! I've loved getting to know her this month! She pulled together such a great box for me! I was beside myself when I found this sitting on my desk. I know most people wait and open the box while they document it, buuuuut let me remind you that I am very impatient and have zero self control. So this is a reenactment of me opening it--PS I was just as excited the second time as I was the first time.

This month's theme was a box about where you are from, so I was obviously anxious to see what West coast treasures my California girl was going to send to me! Inside my cara box, I found the cutest little SF postcard from her explaining all of it's contents (Why didn't I think of a post card for Krystal!?).

She packed for me:
A travel book from a local book store do chronicle all of my adventures.
A box of matches also from the local book store with her favorite novel
Lip balm from San Francisco's famous Ben and Jerry's
Chocolate from a SF toffee shop, because she knows how I can't live without my midnight snacks :)
and this shot glass which depicts some of the notable sights of her hometown.

What a joy it has been to get to know Sonya over these past couple of weeks. She is a doll in ever sense of the word! Check out her blog, tell her I sent you! :)

Also, be sure to head over to Pressing Pause, to see what Georgia goodies I packed up in a Cara box for my sin city native, Krystal. I promise, you are going to love her! I can't say enough good things about this lady. Southerners will appreciate the box of Southern Belle must-haves I sent to her!
